There’s nothing quite like the outdoors and Stagecoach Trails is pure outdoors. Located in the middle of the Mohave desert it boasts unlimited views and a horseback riding program like none other.  The first thing you will notice when venturing out on the trails is large cactus and many Joshua trees.  A horse riding trip to Buck mountain provides a clear view 20 miles across to the Hualapai mountains. Montana may have the distinction of being Big Sky Country but at the ranch it does not get any bigger than this.  The Hualapai mountains rise a majestic 8,000 feet and become snow covered in winter, all the while one bask in a comfortable 75-80 degree temperature down at the ranch.

Hospitality is what sets Stagecoach Trails Guest Ranch apart.  Dan and Carrie, the owners of the ranch will do anything and everything in their power to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations.  They garnished an almost 100% satisfaction rating on TripAdvisor by consistently maintaining this motto.   Accommodating a maximum of 40 people, the staff can spend quality individual time with you during your entire stay.

Why are they the Best?

our passion is traveling and exploring

Exceptional riding program

A true family ranch

Western accommodations

At night we were treated to a nice fire around a fire-pit with other guests, the owners and the staff.  They claim that you will arrive as guests and leave as family and that is exactly how you feel when you leave.  It is hard not to want to come back if only to see the people you met during your stay.  If you prefer privacy, there is plenty of it to be found with many areas throughout to sit and relax on your own.

The rooms at the ranch are extremely clean and nicely decorated in South Western decor.  We stayed in the Santa Fe Suites which had a living room with a working fireplace and two separate bedrooms.  We had a front porch with a rocking chair and a courtyard at the back that overlooked the Mohave and Buck mountains.  There were so many nice spots to just sit and relax that we sometimes found it hard to decide whether to venture out on the property or just enjoy the beautiful scenery from our room courtyard.

Horse riding is what we looked forward to the most.  Two people in our party had never ridden before and the wranglers where fantastic in making sure they both had ample riding orientation and after their first time out neither of them felt nervous at all.  The ranch is situated on 320 acres of land but borders almost 40,000 acres of protected Federal park land.  Stagecoach Trails has a permit to take guests out on these lands and the scenery is as diverse and unique as one could possibly take in during a week long stay.
